What would be some jobs that involve art?
I’m an art major and I love doing art, but I don’t think I can make a living doing commissioned art. I have considered interior design and Album cover/art design, but I really don’t know what else I could do that interests me, that wouldn’t require me to move far away from home.
Graphic Design would be your best bet. I did it for two years and could not find a perm position during that time. I do have a degree in Graphic Design and it was still impossible to find a position. I currently work in a corporate position and do art in my free time. Doing art for a living kind of killed it for me. I never did anything in my free time while I was a Graphic Designer.
