What are the Job responsibilities of a person as a Computer Hardware/System Engineer ?
all that i want to know is that what are the job responsibiliest of computer hardware engineers who are employed to maintain the systems of a company.If suppose a Motherboard,harddisk,SMPS,etc fails to fucntion,then does the engineer have to repair it manually in the company or does he has to get it repair from somewhere outside.And if he has to get it repair from outside then it can be done by any person.Then what is the job of the engineer only to get it repair from outside?

Computer technicians and system engineers are usually two different positions depending on the size of the company. Computer technicians typically take care of setup, troubleshooting and repair of end-user workstations and peripherals.
Systems engineers are tasked with developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing the actual network components and servers included in the company’s technology infrastructure. This includes many levels of certifications and years of experience to get to this position.
The company decides if they want to staff repair technicians for their systems or not. Many computer companies offer service contracts to their customers as an option to maintain the equipment so the customer doesn’t have to staff as many people. This can be for both the network equipment or the workstations.
